1 Mb on 512 ? Anyone

Does anyone know what happens if you have a 1 MB line and a 512K ( non telkom ISP). Will you get the full bandwidth?

If you have a "pipe" of bandwidth (for example IS's 512k uncapped) you will only ever get 512k.

If your ISP is limiting the speed of a standard account where you are buying the transfer limit (eg. a standard 3GB) then you aught to start asking questions.
