Wanted to say the same thing.

Also his DNA may be way different than ours today. Evolution might not always be a good thing. In which case his DNA might be beneficial to us.

I would think his DNA actually being very close to ours.

DNA wise Africans have the most diverse DNA. So as a European he will probably fit into a very small range closer to Caucasians.

Yeah. Plus, I'll pay good money for a pet velociraptor. Although going back 65,000,000+ years might prove a little more tricky than 10,000. :(

The only problem is that a Velociraptor is a feathered animal the size of a dog.

Just one of the huge Jurassic Park fails of epic proportions.

Nothing new:

As a science/space nutcase I have to suspend everything I know about space to enjoy a simple Star Wars movie.

Else I would go:
What there is no sound in space!!!
What you can doge lasers, sins when?
What why do they fly like they in the atmosphere?
Erm if they accelerating like that the G's would kill em!!!!

and so on :)

Slightly different though... These are friggen JEDIS with all sorts of powers ;)

They have Jedi ears which can hear in space :p

They have Jedi bodies which can dodge lasers and are resilient to G-force :)

So that's completely and utterly fantasy.

Jurassic Park attempts to be scientifically tangible with the scientists and cloning etc.

Would make an even better pet at that size :D

And why the fsck do you need wings in space, definitely not for lift.

I suppose but a true Velociraptor looks more like a chicken than what the movie portrays.

Maybe if they land on a planet with an atmosphere? Provided the space craft is capable of landing on a planet.

Maybe we should start a thread if you really wanna get technical but I can tell you one thing, space battles will be nothing like you see them in movies.

You will not have people in the craft, lasers would actually be a waste of energy(rather hurl rocks) and what works for atmospheric flight will be totally catastrophic for space flight not to even mention why do you wanna go down there in the 1st place as you will never be able to get it off the planet, would be waaay to costly to lift that weight out of the atmosphere again.

With the tech that we poses at the moment , not necessarily the case with future tech ;)

Doesn't matter when you work with the energy to weight issue. You still need a crapload of energy to move it doesn't matter how advanced you are. It would be simpler to abandon it and get a new one(strap rockets onto a rock with a computer and some guns). Esp when you build em expendable enough to be used for Space combat.

1)Antimatter engines pack a lot of punch (theoretically of course) for a very small amount.
Also what is to say they don't stop to refuel or replace spent fuel cells ?
2)"Shields are up captain" :p

To OP , sorry for straying from the subject a little :)

Might have to use this tech to resurrect the rhino in a few years :/

So, yes I see this as a "good" thing

How about advancing stem cell research and grow rhino horns in a lab for all the "China's" out there
Then they can sniff/rub on dick or whatever the hell else they wanna do with it till the unicorns come home
