10.6.2 update on a Hackintosh

Ive updated to 10.6.2 on mine without any glitches. I had to replace AppleHDA.kext tho to get my sound to work again.

Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8
Gigabyte GA-EG31M-S2
Inno 3D 9800GT 1GB

Kext Used:
Chameleon 3
dsdt.aml
Fakesmc.kext
IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext
NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
OpenHaltRestart.kext
AppleHDA.kext

... and my hackintosh lives on.

Have you tried placing the LegacyHDA kexts into your Extra folder? I have the G31-E2S m/b and it uses the ALC 883 audio chipset. If yours is the same then here is a link to the files.

Try it. Copy your HDA kext from S/L/E to your desktop, then delete from S/L/E, install new kexts to Extra and restart.
