Must be nice to have enough money to basically play a real-life game of monopoly.

Sounds like he has a really diverse portfolio, all tied together quite nicely by technology and communications
 
He didn't have to, but he is investing in local companies. That is what we need here in SA, more than ever.

Good for him, helping grow SA. And if he can make some honest bux along the way, then even better.

No sarcasm intended. Hopefully these companies will be able to make it big, employing many people and driving the economy forward
 
They should have had his wine farm at the top of the list. The rest are just hobbies judging from his tweets!
 
Looks like a good range of investments in areas he knows about or has good connections in those areas.

He was chairing mxit at some stage but I see he is not investing in that. That is interesting, given that his time is probably more precious to him than his cash
 
Amalocker.... so another fancy courier type effort? If they can export it but knowing our shirty level of commerce in backwater SA how can we obtain an experienced courier setup here? Maybe we can export this technology together with "car guard" technology and "petrol jockey" technology to places like Colombia.
