This is more than alarming results...

Interesting thing to know would be what the birth-rate is these days?

Interesting to see what the balance is....

I am sure the birth-rate among not-so-intelligent people is a way higher than that ... which basically means more criminals are born to murder more people in the future ...

Just give me a gun so i can proctect myself from these vile elements.
If i'm not gonna stand up and protect myself, who is gonna do it? the police? our minister of no-safety and non-security?

If you want it done right, do it yourself!

killadoob: You will notice if you can read that I never denied the crime rate, I actually posted various crime stats and read up on them.

The stats posted in the article do not go against any other stats that I have posted before.

Gauteng has +- 8.8 million people with (according to above) 3650 murders per year.

So if you do work out the stats you will see that your chance of being murdered in gauteng next year is less than 0.05 %

All I am saying is keep to the facts.

I have a 99.95% chance of not being murdered this year, Obviously 3650 people this year don't have that chance but for now I am still going to take my chances.

Crime needs to be sorted and I am glad that the police do seem to be setting guidelines now that they can measured against at the end of the year,

Did noone else see a positive?

I don't know what your monitor is doing to my posts but you seem to miss quite a bit of what is posted...

Let me recap the parts you missed

Crime Needs To Be Sorted
Police - Guidelines - Measured - Time
3650 People Will Die
Chance of surviving 99.95%
I will take my chances

Tell me where I posted anything that is untrue? Or where I was hiding from the facts?

Thx GavinMannion.
Would be interesting to see how many people die of other causes though...
The 3650 figure is only for murders, but what about, drugs, cancer, road accidents, etc.

Our death rate is higher than other countries that are at war.
It's safer to be in a country at war than to be in south africa.
(I think someone compared our death rates to iraq, or some country over there.)
p.s.: Wil try to find the source again
