Damelin isn't a uni... :p
I went to school with a guy who was 15 in first year, was at UJ and accepted at WITS as well so I don't think they care much about age.
He wasn't particularly brilliant but his parents lied about his age and he went to school early.

At the 10 year reunion, no one recognized this big guy who had been 14 for most of Matric (the age of a grade 8) and was now a grown man LOL.
I was 18 in the end of gr11 so was 4 years older than him and in the same grade.

She studies online. I am thinking in today's world this is the way to go. Kids are super confident and don't learn the fear of the point of school is obedience, shutting up, avoiding embarrassing situations in front of kids, and avoiding being scolded by teachers.
So they're going to become hermits to avoid embarrassing situations in front of other people?

Are they going to be corrected by parents instead or are we talking about just leaving them to raise themselves?

The real problem is one size fits all schooling. Some children simply don't do well in the open relaxed environment typical of a Montessori school, others suffer in an environment where they're expected to sit at a desk all day and ask permission for every little thing.

The traditional schools will become a place for parents who are lazy and are looking for babysitters.
It's nice that you're independently wealthy and have all this free time to devote to educating your children. Most people don't have that luxury. Neither will simply putting your child down in front of the computer magically lead to them getting an education.

Wouldn't it make more sense to fairly distribute intelligence than just allocating it to a single individual?
A glance at all the inventions and discoveries around the world over the last 5000 years would show that sub- Saharan Africa was badly short changed when intelligence was originally handed out.

No you actually save money.

I am saying times have changed. Remote work from home is common. Homeschooling programs have class environments. Children are motivated to learn. The world has changed post covid. Of course, you arrange activities for your kid. You take the responsibility to bring up your kid to be well adjusted and that includes socializing and extramural activities. The money you save you spend on school you spend on the education and activities on the kid.
