Got to love how eBay notified its users the moment it happened

In fact, has anyone been notified by eBay at all yet? Or is the three-year-late media the extent of customers' awareness about this breach?

Well, at least I'm not on the sample. Changed my password yesterday as well.
Well if I'm right about the salted part then the risk isn't all that hectic -you'd need either a flaw in the implementation or stupid amounts of processing power to break it. Thats why I think the price is so low...they're effectively selling 145m names + email addresses...not 145m passwords.

Still...something seems off. The price looks too low even for that.
