Eighteen people were killed on Friday in a shootout with police in Makhado, Limpopo, national police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe has said.

National police commissioner General Fannie Masemola, his deputy, and Hawks head Lieutenant-General Godfrey Lebeya are heading to the crime scene.

The best way to erode the political competition's voter base (EFF) is to shoot and burn them. Red is an easy target. The brits learnt the hard way and oh how history does repeat itself
 
The irony about it all, usually the ANC government did very little even as CIT heists increase before elections. Maybe the ANC was angry that donations were collected that wasn't going to them and that is why they finally take action... Limpopo is the EFFs stronghold
