VC have NOT lowered their rates yet. Their offer only begins next month.I feel pretty certain that it will .. just my hunch![]()
With VC having lowered their rates as well, it would not be the smartest move for MTN to end it... besides they'll lose among their current users as well, I for one will not pay R399 for 1GB of data.. nope it's just too much for too little.. if the promo ends and doesn't continue I'll either drop back to my 350MB bundles or settle for the new 500MB..
Oh yah.. I knew thatVC have NOT lowered their rates yet. Their offer only begins next month.
This post should shed some light on all ya all's confusion -----> http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showpost.php?p=932933&postcount=16![]()
It must be a mistake.![]()
So I phone mtn sp, wait 20 minutes, and get told that the promotion is ony for new subscribers. I can hardly believe it, can it be true?
So if your an existing customer you have to pay the hard price, while Vodacom are dropping their prices considerably.

Can anyone confirm with certainty that I've been given incorrect info?
Has anyone gotten the 2gig promo on an existing HSPDA card contract?
As far as I know, prepaid databundles are only on Vodacom.
Will a Vodacom simcard work on the MTN datacards?
MTN had prepaid databundles long before Vodacom.
Vodacom sim cards work on a MTN datacard. And vice versa.
You should be able to use the MTN software and just create a new profile.
