OK , I see month-to-month is R68 and prepaid is R69. Won't help me as I got a month-to-month package.

Month to month is billable every month.
Prepaid is when you need it. It won't bill you every month.

This was when the promotion had started. It has since been extended as part of any normal Airmobile prepaid sign up. Thanks for spotting it. I will alert of Website Dev team.

Yes month to month subscriptions are different to prepaid.

Hi yes, I was referring to this part in the article:

Cell C will offer a free lifeline package, capped at 250KB per day, by 1 May 2020. This translates into 7.5MB per month.

Honestly no catch, i use the mtn SIM as a secondary in my phone for data only. I don't spend much, not even enough to get the free 1gb, luckily that's covered by my other LTE package I have through them.

IN FACT, the free data even rolls over!
