Lets see how this pans out before making assumptions ;)

Copenhagen - A gunman wounded two Israelis working at a packed central Denmark shopping mall on Wednesday, Danish police said.

The two wounded men are Israelis in their 20s, police spokesman Lars Thede said.

He said it was too early to speculate on whether they were targeted because of their nationality.

One of the wounded was shot in the arm and the other in the leg, police said. Their condition is unclear.

The shooting took place at the Rosengaard mall in Odense, 170 kilometers west of Copenhagen.

It occurred around 15:30 (1430 GMT), when the mall was filled with people doing last-minute shopping before the New Year's break.

Thede said a video surveillance camera showed a man in his mid-20s pulling out a gun before opening fire.

"We cannot say whether he is Palestinian, Iraqi or where he is from," he said. "It is too early to say whether this has something to do with what happens elsewhere."

Alem Dervisevic, an eyewitness, told TV2 that he thought fireworks were going off when the shooting occurred.

"But then we saw gun rounds on the floor, we saw people running and shouting," Dervisevic told TV2.

"I saw blood and a man lying down near Kvickly (supermarket) and ambulance people picking him up."

The men, who were selling hair care products, had been harassed by a group of youths in recent days, Denmark's Ritzau news agency said.

According to the BT newspaper's website, a man shouted something in another language and opened fire.

Another Israeli inside the hairdressing shop threw a chair at the gunman, the newspaper said.

The shooter escaped in a dark vehicle.

If it were Muslim gunmen they fired "bullets of peace" so the Israeli hairdressers must have been bad guys...as a matter of fact I read elsewhere that the AU have already condemned their haircare products :p

Of course nobody can blame them because they were just acting out of a sense of national grievance and forced to use assymetric warfare, just like the scum that blow themselves up in Tel Aviv cafes and Jerusalem buses.

Not quite as bad as their brave cousins in Iraq blowing up markets full of innocent Iraqis out of "justifiable" grievances against Americans

not according to some on this forum

Note the outrage at this attack on innocent civilians by those so quick to criticize Israel for killing terrorists.

man of Palestinian origin has been arrested for shooting two Israeli salesmen

Now who predicted that it would be one of the peaceful types?

man of Palestinian origin has been arrested for shooting two Israeli salesmen

Police said they were unsure what the motive was, but Danish media have speculated it may have been a protest against Israeli air raids in Gaza.

The 27-year-old suspect turned himself in. He reportedly denies trying to kill the men but admits carrying a gun.

But of course killing Israelis in a foreign nation thousands of miles away from Palestine is really going to convince Israel to stop. Unfortunately all it is going to achieve is increased discrimination against all people of Middle Eastern Arab descent globally.

"Muslims ordered off US plane" was an article a few days ago. No one should be upset or surprised to view an article in a few days time "Muslims arrested and thrown out of Scandinavian shopping mall".

Why don't they get it that they're doing it to themselves? Attack New York and all Muslims become suspects on planes, open fire in a mall and all Muslims become suspects in shopping malls, launch rockets at Israel and they launch an attack on your cities.

It is understandable why Arab countries are slowly beginning to condemn not only Israel's retaliation but also the initial attacks by Hamas, etc.

Exactly what extremists want. Alienates Muslims from society( multi culturalism plays it's part too) and greats victimization.

Pity, most Muslims, though culturally different, are very nice people. Unfortunately these terrorist activities have certainly damaged the average person's perception.

I know many Muslim countries have come down hard on Hamas, and most definitely other terrorist organisation for tainting the name of Islam. And right they should, I just wish everyone else would follow suite and let this scum know that they don't speak for their religion and they are not wanted on this planet.

The average persons perception will not change until such questions remain unanswered.
