Stew from OZ is in a generous mood: "im beginning to wonder if its time for a change from the toss before a match. im glad we won them and put us in good positions, but the same thing has happened to us in reverse also.
maybe they should toss a coin at the beginning of the series and whoever wins it chooses what they want to do in first test. then the other capt chooses in next test and so on. too many matches decided by toss with these flat batting decks now." Whatever happened to the fact that the best team won?

Mmmmm sounds interesting.

Why the surprise? Days ago I knew we'd lost the toss for this match.

He broke his hand, remember.

Yeah, I know. And I'd much rather he was there. I still think he's a toss though. :)

Ntini to Katich, no run, loud loud shout for Lbw but it's turned down. Kallis, at first slip, looks at Boucher to say whether we should go for a review but Boucher shrugs. It was full in length and straightened on the middle stump, Katich got the bat way outside the line and was hit in front of middle and off. IT would have crashed into off and middle! oh boy!

Ntini to Katich, no run, another loud shout for lbw, again turned down by Asad Rauf. This time they go for the review. It looked high. It landed short in length, just outside the leg stump and moved towards the middle and off, Katich was on the shuffle and was hit high on the pad. Two things: it pitched outside leg and might have gone over the stumps as well. Oh well. Another review from SA that has gone nowhere.

We are useless at this !!!!

Dumineeeeeeeeeee!

But at least we got him two balls later. :)

22.4 Harris to Hughes, OUT, Harris says bugger off you fielders, I will do it myself. It was flighted around the off stump, Hughes went for the sweep but failed to connect. It would have hit the stumps all right but was the point of contact outside off? I will confirm after I get hold of a replay.
PJ Hughes lbw b Harris 33 (64b 4x4 0x6) SR: 51.56
22.3 Harris to Hughes, no run, leans forward to defend
22.2 Harris to Hughes, no run, Dropped by Duminy at short cover. Oh boy what is happening out there. It was floated outside off and Hughes drove it straight to Duminy who couldn't hold on.

Those two wickets plus slow scoring rate definitely give us the session.

But you can't help thinking what could've been....

Mmmm another wicket would have made it ours 100%, but 2 down is not bad, also knowing its ponting and hughes its nice.

Similar to the Wanderers match.
If they get past 300 again, Mickey must be FIRED.
