Shame - it must have been a terrible way to start your Friday...
Indeed.
What to do... What to do...

Damn but prince was looking great yesterday barring one play and miss. 37 of 36 ballsI love the new Prince way of batting.
He just oozes confidence and he is batting like a test-batsmen should, leaving goodish balls, defending great balls and smashing the bad ones to the bountry.
Khan looked ok till the aussie leggie started bowlingBut I am full of hope and If we can dominate today we are well on our way.
Pity we have to bat last on this track, I think it will be a bit of a terror on day 4 and 5.
I'd suggest looking in the mirror and wooting yourself until the feeling passes. Celebrate with a microwaved pizza cone if you like...

woke up this morning to the realisation that i truly despise mitchell johnson and will have to try and skivvy off Monday morning to see if i can watch him go out again (i.e. when Aus are trying to save the game after SA get to 650/5 declared)
would, i think, be a great way for the series to end if Aus were to be the one chasing an imposing target to save/win the game
Yeah Khan's a lemon, should persist with McKenzie, can't field either...
That's a bit harsh, considering it's his 1st SA game, don't you think?
I thought he did well considering what he was up against.
I think you need to give him a little more than four session's chance.

Definately.
It always amazes me that when a new player joins the Proteas, we always seem to be so critical of the player. The expectation is so high right from the begining without giving the player a chance to find himself within the team.
People don't seem to realise how big a step up it is to go from our domestic league up to the international league.
We need to give our guys a chance to settle and then start working hard at what it is they are there to do. I always think back to when the likes of Allan Donald started playing for his country. Man he was the most unreliable bowler ever, but he had great pace and was given the time to work at his consistancy. Same with Dale Steyn, when he first joined SA, he didn't look like much, except for raw pace, but look at him now.
agree 100% but he should not have dropped that catch, it was not a very hard one.
LOL, agreed, but give the guy a break & chalk it up to nerves. Even JP drops a sitter now and then.![]()
