I'm on the other side of the world and have had no luck trying to listen in on the radio2000 commentary...seems they're unable to handle the traffic.

Personally I have never been able to get their live streaming ever.

True true, but you have to agree Botha seems to have improved significantly enough to warrant an inclusion.

well, he has been playing bloody well in limited overs cricket yes, but reckon they will see how he goes in first class cricket first before bringing him back into test cricket.

cant be too easy to catch the ball with a dodgy elbow and recently broken hand. i reckon anyway. was a sitter though. but like kepler said, smith is one of the best slip fielders in the game at the moment, but he wont catch everything. one hell of a shame that it was Ponting on 40 just before lunch and not Siddle before tea, if he has to drop one every once in a while.

Yeah he might have improved a lot but there is just not anyone doing anything wrong atm to warrant exclusion

yes, i'm watching, said that as well. But people drop catches, $hit happens.

In general our fielding is pretty damn good. Did you see Mackenzie's catch? one of the better catches you will ever see. So nothing wrong with our standard of fielding in general.

They will have to come out now and make up for that mistake.

Luckily sport is not an exact science, so i for one am glad things don't always go as they are suppose to, makes for better viewing.

But as soon as someone slips up, we have a couple of people waiting to fill those gaps. good for the quality of our cricket if the guys in the team knows someone is waiting for them to slip up to take their spot.

they are starting the 4 day FC series now, so not too much wondering to do. Know he can do the step up to international level, just have to see how he goes in the longer form of the game.
