Sides batting first have won 22 games at newlands while the side batting second has only won 10 games. That says it all. The toss is absolutely vital on Thursday.

Yeah the side batting second has only 31.25% of the games.

Not Impossible but I am sure who ever wins the toss will have a bat.

Yeah those show again that our chances improve a whole bunch if we get to bat first.

If we lose today, we lose our no1 spot:(.

South Africa aim to break mirror image
...
The most notable feature of the results has been the way the series in South Africa has mirrored the contest in Australia. On both tours the visitors won the first two Tests before losing the third; on both tours the hosts triumphed in the two Twenty20 internationals; and on both tours the visiting team won the opening ODI and then lost the second. If the trend continues, Australia are destined to round out their trip with three more ODI wins just as Johan Botha's men did in Australia in January.

Anyone know if they are playing vd Merwe or M.Morkel yet? They said it depends on the weather whom they pick.

Yes but the Proteas side is only allowed to field 11 players at a time :p

Although Smith and kallis look like two each they are not :D

Looking good. :)

Will probably be a bit of swing for the bowlers.

Hurry up 2pm!!

Think they will then either play Ntini or morkel.

Morne Morkel? Why? He has already proven thay he doesn't have the temprament to play international cricket. I'm going to have a meltdown the next time I hear someone going on about his potential.
