did anyone hear the dstv crew saying that vettel was going to get a 10 place penalty for an engine change?

in any case, the badoer fuel weight will have been decided after qualifying so it is not an indication of how much fuel the others had at the time of Q3. It is probably a strategy to have him lighter than those around him so he can try make up early places. or the ferrari fuel tank is smaller than those of the other cars.

Can't blame Badoer for that - these third drivers don't get any driving in. I doubt he will last race distance myself...

I thought he was their test driver so he should have had enough driving time. Also he used to be in GP so he does have some experience. Don't get me wrong I'm not defending him... I hate Ferrari and I'd rather he be driving than **** nut Schumi :D

Well it is a shocking performance i agree but he has had no time, i wonder also if he has driven at this track, even so still shocking.

Glad the ham is back and proving that he really is an amazing driver, stuck with mclaren and just kept working and waiting for his chance. Nicely done by kov he should have had pole i reckon was it not for that last corner.

In a Minardi, so he's driving at Minardi speeds ;)

I'm almost perfect I have a few flaws. My hatred for Ferrari and Schumi, my loathing for the Gooners (as is my birthright :D) and Man U, and then my hatred and loathing for certain political parties. Other than that I'm the image of perfection :D

Very good race from Ruebens/Brawn, strategy and his immense skill won the day... Well done, a very popular win..

What an awesome race - clearly Rubinho still has what it takes and he matched Hammi lap for lap despite the heavier load. The pit stop had no bearing on Lewis' P2, he would have been behind despite that slip up IMO... still a great result for McLaren and Lewis though... but the real winner was Kimmi - awesome result at the end of a tough weekend.

Testing ban prevents them from getting much time in the car. Didn't you hear that he'd hardly even driven this years car? It's a real problem for the teams IMO. When Max is gone, they can make their changes.

Vettel the disappointment of the season so far IMO - hasn't taken the red bull by the horns yet...

What annoys me most so far this season, or at least the last 3 or 4 Grands Prix, is that ol' Button seems hell-bent on losing the championship. Rubens proved emphatically that the Brawn had the pace to compete on the day - Jenson needs to catch a wakeup soon, otherwise I'm going to start rooting for Weber. And frankly, I shouldn't need to support a 1-time GP winner for the overall crown...

Anyways, this season is starting to bore me ever so slightly - I hope Hamilton, Alonso & the other usual suspects (actually along with the clowns in red) get their act together for the start of 2010...

ferraris test driver was a total failure!!! even my grandmother could get that car around the track faster than he did and she doesnt even have a drivers license.

vettel.. well.. its not his fault that he has a crap car.

hamilton did a good job and should have won but after the pittstop mess up... tough luck for him.

Well done to rubens, he deserved to win after not winning for the last million years.

No hamilton should not have won, it was touch and go as to who was going to come out first, hamilton never had that race. We saw what rubens did when the first round of stops happened, he decimated hammi's lead and i think regardless of the pitstop he may have come off second best.

I am also glad button is doing so poorly because he said he thinks he is the greatest f1 driver ever :D, since i read that article he has done poorly

Can't be the best when your 38 year old team mate shows you a thing or 2 about winning a race without having the best car on the track.
