The German Grand Prix Preview - Advantage Vettel and Red Bull?

The German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring should provide a true indication of the state of play as the Formula One season reaches its exact midpoint, provided that the weather does not intervene in the form of lower than normal temperatures or rain.

The signs are that it will be cool, with the ambient temperature failing to exceed 18 degrees Celsius (making it very similar to Silverstone’s), and showers likely at some time each day. In other words, conditions likely to favour the Red Bulls on Sebastian Vettel’s home ground.

Would be interesting to see who stands where in terms of performance after the 3 week break.

I hope Vettel can pull of a home win. :D

I find it hard to pay attention to the races with all the drama off the track, which is just not good for the sport. :(

Any drama at the moment (on/off the track) is better than no drama:p.

Just finished watching FP2 and Mclaren have brought some new pieces for the race, a new front wing and diffuser and the result is Hamilton posts a 1:32:149 to make him fastest in the friday sessions.

Heiki did not get the new kit, and he is @ 17th.

But the team to beat seems to be Red Bull.

+1, remember how exciting last season was, remember the grand finale in Brazil?!!! Was stunning!!! Unless something epic happens this season is done and dusted. Button already in an almost unassailable lead, well done to Brawn but honestly no sport needs this sort of dominance...
