Remember last week mclaren topped the time sheets but had no pace in quali and the race so i will rather wait for quali to see mclaren actually have the pace to win.
Yeah it's odd that but Mclaren have been quick in 1st free practice all season and that's where it starts and ends for them...

More than likely, i really hope they got some pace but i doubt it, they said their car does not like fast sweeping corners and well monza is exactly that.

It's not the fuel - if you watch, first practice is never fast compared to FP2. Times fall in FP2 quite radically. I suspect some teams sandbag in 1 and some in 2.

methinks fisi should have stayed with FI - looks like a better car than ferarri at the mo!

...and what about Force India? They seem to be finally getting something going there.

Mmmmmmm... see it went less well for Fisi in FP2 - what happened? Didn't watch it... :erm:

I don't think anyone watched it :D

Let's see during quali but one thing is for sure that FI looks a better car so he may have had a better chance of winning in the FI but i guess the whole driving for ferrari seemed more appealing which is silly in my opinion. He really had a chance to win in that FI, he better qualify in the top 6 or his button will rendered useless :D

Hmmm... I don't think any of us can comprehend the allure of a Ferrari overall dangled in front of an Italian :D That's why I've said I'm happy for him - I'm sure for a passionate Italian it would rank alongside the moon landing for Armstrong.

Yea for sure but i would imagine winning a home GP would be far more alluring than driving a car that looks to have no chance in the race :D but i do understand the allure of driving a ferrari at monza

Fisi thumped sutil last race so i would imagine it may be a 1 2 FI if he had stayed that force india looks flippin strong i hope sutil wins tomorrow.

Let's see what Quali brings, shall we? The McMercs dominated until Saturday afternoon last time 'round if I'm not mistaken.

EDIT

Watching FP3. Struggling through a full 60 minutes of 'commentary' from the local three stooges is proving to be painful.

Here we go enigma, just for you :D

The wrecked Ferrari of Fisichella is lifted out of the gravel. He has smashed his front left wheel and will probably take no further part in the session. He's better than Luca Badoer, but only just.
Fastest lap of the weekend so far, Adrian Sutil! Force India continue to impress, and the German clocks 1:23.735. How Fisichella must wish he were in that good a car...
Looks like he's farming with the red tractor today ;)

Hey, I'm not a fan of the oke - like I said, I'm just happy for him having his Italian dream come true. ;)

Thinking about it though, Luizi is the REAL nail in Badoer's coffin. He's a test-driver getting his first race in a long time in a proven fast car (well, proven at Spa but still...) and he's sixth.

Luca's 'it was the bad evil media's fault' theory just pisses me off.

What has Luizi been doing lately (before his ride)...

Force India test driver, I believe... could be completely wrong, though.

Hey, here's a thought - let's skip the Fisi/Luca/Luizzzzzzi-bit. The race weekend is shaping up in a fashion way too interesting to care! :D

Must be stinging a bit, yes. They also showed ol' Flav walking from the Renault hospitality setup to the pit building. Not quite sure, but I think I might actually have noticed the sweat boiling on his bald spot. :erm:

Man, where has F1 gone. It's entrenched in me - I've missed one race since '86/'87, so I can't not watch. But seeing how much of a circus it has become isn't cool. :(
