Must be stinging a bit, yes. They also showed ol' Flav walking from the Renault hospitality setup to the pit building. Not quite sure, but I think I might actually have noticed the sweat boiling on his bald spot. :erm:

Man, where has F1 gone. It's entrenched in me - I've missed one race since '86/'87, so I can't not watch. But seeing how much of a circus it has become isn't cool. :(

+1...
about Flav... this says it all IMO:
Renault is to face the FIA's World Motor Sport Council in Paris on September 21 to answer charges that it deliberately caused a crash in last year's Singapore Grand Prix to help Fernando Alonso win.

Speaking about the looming WMSC action, Briatore said: "You know what? Whatever happens, if someone goes against the rules, they go against the rules. If I tell you to go rob a bank – afterwards, you decide whether to rob the bank or not.

"I don't feel I have any responsibility, and we don't feel we have done absolutely anything [wrong]. In the case of Piquet we go to the World Council. But the fact already that we have put a criminal plan to Piquet is because we have enough confidence to be successful - the team and myself."
Of course it could just have been a fleeting comment...

Kudos to Sutil, but I'd want to stay home tomorrow if I was him. He's going to get monstered into Turn 1. Bets on total carnage with everyone wanting to stay off the high kerbs? I see expensive bits flying...

At least the right car is P1 again!

Predictions comming from a Ferrari fan:

1st: Ham (Has the best Kers system, and engine. Monza is the best track for kers on the Calender)
2nd: Kimi (Good start. Ferrari came out this week to say they wont win here, and I think they are right)
3rd: Rubens (if he dosnt stall, he should be able to make it to 3rd by the end, after losing some spots at the start)

My predictions still stand :p

Post quali weights indicate that Kimi is in a strong position, as are the Brawns and Kovi:

Pos Driver Weight (kg)
1. Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes 653.5
2. Sutil Force India-Mercedes 655.0
3. Raikkonen Ferrari 662.0
4. Kovalainen McLaren-Mercedes 683.0
5. Barrichello Brawn-Mercedes 688.5
6. Button Brawn-Mercedes 687.0
7. Liuzzi Force India-Mercedes 679.5
8. Alonso Renault 677.5
9. Vettel Red Bull-Renault 682.0
10. Webber Red Bull-Renault 683.0
11. Trulli Toyota 703.0*
12. Grosjean Renault 699.8*
13. Kubica BMW-Sauber 697.5*
14. Fisichella Ferrari 690.0*
15. Heidfeld BMW-Sauber 697.5*
16. Glock Toyota 709.8*
17. Nakajima Williams-Toyota 706.2*
18. Rosberg Williams-Toyota 708.6*
19. Buemi Toro Rosso-Ferrari 706.0*
20. Alguersuari Toro Rosso-Ferrari 706.0*

But off the mark, I would put my money on Hami getting a flying start. Kimi will likely get past Sutil on lap 1... Kovi too perhaps.

Holy F check the weights of the top 2 cars lol. I can now see why hammi got pole, i was at a funeral during quali and after thinking wow they have pace but damn hahah.

Anyways going to be interesting tomorrow.

Fisi must be kicking his arse, 14th sutil 2nd :D, at least sutil has some more fuel onboard for the pitstops because even with kimi's button last race if fisi could have stayed out one lap longer he would have won.

What is going to happen to Fisi when Massa comes back.
I though Alonso was going to Ferrari.

Yeah, the two ruling geriatrics have become intensely annoying over the years and the rate at which they spew carp seems to be accelerating.

Personally I don't know if 3 cars per team would be on - we SHOULD be back to 13 teams next year if P. Sauber can salvage BMW, so it everyone has three cars on the grid, that's 39 cars. Every first corner would see half the field wiped out.

Nice race, well done to Rubens and Brawn. Also well done to Kimi and Sutil for finishing without touching ;)

Glad to see the hamster did it again :D

Aw, carp!

Oh well, not as if car #1 is a factor in the championship; set up very nicely between Rubens and Jenson now. The end of the season will be good!

Hamilton - what a chop! There was no way he was going to catch Button and he still pushed it. The lad needs to mature - although why wasn't Phil Prew on the horn giving him stick about it?

Great race by Rubens though. The man knows how to race Monza...

Thought it was a technical problem for Ham... until I saw the replay and realised the only technical problem was his right foot.:D

Kudos to him for not giving up though.

Might not have helped him but made for some good entertainment!
