Both teams should comlete 20 overs for D/L to apply. NZ only batted 14.

I think to much play was lost, maybe you need to get in 20 overs or something which never happened.

They can't. rules says for a 50 over game to be considered valid at least 20 overs needs to be bowled. For a 20/20 at least 5.

Silly rule. The black caps were robbed.
