Here you can see Allan go off the track. Looks like he took the corner too wide, went onto the curbing and just spun off. Very quick and it really doesn't look that fatal. Very unlucky and very sad

His team was running fourth in class when I last looked.

Also interesting is that there are 3 safety cars, one for each of the 3 groups.

I don't think it is one car per group, just 3 cars to split the field up to prevent congestion and because the track is so big they send them out from different points. I clearly saw GT and LMP2 cars mixed in with the Audis and Toyotas during the safety car periods.

I did not yet watch something about this but seem this is quite risky sport.
