The American commentators are pretty much explaining the rules rather than commentating the game :D

Ruan Pienaar ruled out for the tour.

Replaced by Jano Vermaak.

This means we'll see more of Reinach. Great!

Obviously the big game out of that lot would be the Canada vs Namibia game, what a humdinger!

The Barbarians playing the Leicester Tigers has picked two Canadians. The Canadian 2014 results are questionable but close:

Canada 23-28 England RFU Championship XV

Canada 35-38 United States

Canada 17-19 Scotland

Canada 25-34 Japan

I picked the Canadians...

This weekend has a few problems in store:

Canada v Namibia
Canada are rated higher than Namibia but Namibia can draw on amazing resources when they want to. The Biltong Boere cannot however boast any significant performance over Canada, so they (CAN) will be my pick - but only just.

Romania v USA
Romania have home town advantage and better IRB standing over USA. USA have a better track record over their opponents. Anyone's guess so I will wait and see but my leaning is USA...

Italy v Samoa
Italy have it at home but Samoa are never a walkover. They're mean, they're tough and they're notorious giant slayers. I doubt they will have any problem dispatching Italy but you never know.

England v New Zealand
Ordinarily, NZ should be a favourite. Somehow, I think England may just take this though.

Wales v Australia
Oz left reeling from the feeling of Bealing. Welsh are tough customers any day of the week. Gonna go ahead with wales here

Georgia v Tonga
Georgia can enjoy a few wins at home, sure, but I don't think this will be one of them - these Pacific islanders, like their buddies in Samoa, can upset the apple cart. Very little separates these two teams (at least from what I can see). Maybe Tonga this time round.

Scotland v Argentina
Despite their tenacity and determination, Argentina don't tour the UK very well. Maybe this is the year that changes. I sure hope so but until I see evidence of that, the home side (here, Scotland) will be my pick.

I may have changed my mind - Romania can easily beat America...

Meh - are they an improvement?

I still haven't committed these:

Romania / USA: I may just flick a coin
Scotland / Argentina: Heart says Argentina, brain says Argentina, previous record says Scotland. Morty - your call - which should I choose?
England / New Zealand: With the WC coming, England as hosts want to send a message to the #1 and defending champions. New Zealand are not #1 for fun though. And here's the kicker: heart has no opinion. I definitely want one of them to lose, I just can't figure out which one. Maybe I can throw caution to the wind and ask for a draw...

I think England will be wanting to leave an impression of their flag a bit longer... :whistling: :p
