Hehe. EXACTLY how he tackled Lomu... Tackle is perhaps the wrong term. More tripping like you said.

Lomu ran over him and tripped on Campo's ego.

No no no. Who can forget Jonah Lomu running over Mike Catt!

And he never scored against SA iirc. Ended up marrying a chick from Bloem or something, right?

Yep, Jonah Lomu played against South Africa 13 times and didn't score a try once.

Who can forget this try...?

ok ok last one.

What about the legend Joost tackling Lomu in that same game. Hard to think this is the same man we see today.

I miss those days... The days where rucking was still allowed and every second tackle wasn't blown for being high or dangerous.

Richie McCaw would never have seen his 100th game as a captain (Today) if rucking was still allowed. He would have had more broken wrist and fingers than a Tom & Jerry cartoon.

Yeh, and the scrums... Look at 95 world cup again... No touch or pause or anything... Fribt rows just look at each other and gooi! We had a lot less reset scrums in those days

Not saying that at all. Every player in the team should at least be capable of making a straight forword tackle.

When last did we see a big wing, I mean Dean Hall Joma Lomu big? I think that young winger with the kark hairstyle from WP looks like he might have potential. His name slips my mind now.... What you think?

There's been a lot of comparisons recently in NZ between Jonah Lomu and Julian Savea. I think he's the closest to that kind of player. Nicknamed The Bus. Best wing in the world, imo.

Japan and Argentina will have a team in the 2016 competition.

Getting a bit much now if you ask me. Bring back Super10/Super12

Julian is good but he's no Lomu...

Lomu was a freak of nature! Unstoppable!

It is a Pacific team, not only Japanese players. Japan won the host for the club vs Singapore, but they are bidding to play in Singapore as well.

And the South Sea Pacific islanders continue to get shafted? Probably because NZ and OZ want to continue to plunder their resources?

Why wouldn't they do everything possible to continue their plundering? Especially after finding another gem like MALAKAI FEKITOA.

There's only like 1 or 2 players in the current ABs squad that wasn't born in New Zealand.
