Rhule is not up to test standard, rubbish selection, Combrink should have been in the team on the wing. I was actually looking forward to seeing Jan and Rohan in the midfield, Why is Rohan not even in the squad, has he removed himself, I really hope it is not that he has not been selected?

Personally I would love to see a Bok team selected from players playing abroad. Bet you they would beat the local side...

Last time I checked we are the 2nd best test cricket team in the world, would settle for a rugga team that good. Remember we are still unbeaten this year, if we are going to talk about the 'state' of our rugga.

I may be wrong, but isn't Kitshoff and Nyakane both loosehead props?

From the group, I guess this is not a bad team. Pretty much as expected. We should beat Argentina at home though.

Cassiem overrated
Rhule no defence
Kriel not the best for the spot

Let's see what the Argies get up to .... they may be the same meh as the French though

Wallabies don't stand a chance. Cannot believe Cassiem is in the starting team and Pieter on the bench. Pieter on the flank would be a much better.

Personally so off Pieter. He plays like a man with twice the caps IE tired and sluggish. Too slow for flank IMHO and defensively suspect. Devastating when he's in the mood and porous when he isn't. Great having his height at the back of the lineout though.

Not sure what Cassiem is doing in the squad, he's barely qualified to play Super rugby. Would start with Du Preez or persist with Oupa. Without Warren we actually looking a bit disjointed in the loose trio.

He was horribly found out against England on the side of the scrum. Granted, no one played well that day but he was particularly woeful.

What happened to the international Springboks - Vermeulen, Alberts, Smith etc?

Yeah, I dunno what Coetzee is thinking. Bringing Hougaard in from overseas but forgetting about the above and the likes of Louw, Bismark and Steyn.

You might not want to start them, but their experience is sorely missed in what is a very, very green squad.
