Jopie is that kind of guy who will say that rugga is better than rugby, but have never spectated a rugga game in his life.
Jopie is the kind of guy who finds his joy in life by stealing other's. Best thing to do is to ignore him

Sublime performance from England.

NZ were fortunate not to go down 19 - 0

Sadly the Boks have not yet displayed 20% of the handling skills, game plan, confidence that England displayed today.

This

So many short sharp passes from the forwards. So many long fast passes to the wingers. Was so speedy, nz got blown away by a team with better ball skills on the day

Also note how England's players dont run into the stomach of an opponent like the Boks. Instead they run into the gap NEXT TO the opponent AND tries to stay on their feet for as long as they can while giving effort to shake off the tackler.
Just a tiny observation

How many countries, unions and players have bitched about the rate Eddie Jones is coaching at? Jones has taken Steve Borthwick along everywhere he goes, and that guy apparently works the big boys to death in the camp. I don’t know Neal Hatley, but he seems to be a good scrum coach. Then lastly, Jones replaced Paul Gustard with Jon Mitchell. No SA union, since the Lion’s debacle, wanted Jon Mitchell as head coach because apparently he makes players leave the couch to go outside and they bitched about that.

People are like, ‘all work and no play’, and this coaching team is like, ‘hard work brings the RWC back home’.

The Haka is a cultural identity and I have seen the broadcasters quite invested in capturing the moment, so… how much is the Haka worth?

I am quite sure the All Blacks is selling it.

Or this one

First one was a Junior League game, the All Blacks lost the match against their neighbours. Today they are consulted on the war dance, it is 'culturally' scripted - almost DSTV ad-like.

In my opinion, the 10-meter rule must be scrapped. Make it illegal to disrupt the war dance and to physically make contact with the dancers, but allow the opposition to exercise and practice their own culture and tradition wherever within the legal grounds. Strictly speaking, England lost this match on a technicality prior to the whistle had even blown... I don't mind the cultural activity practised by peoples in sports, but don't allow it as a special privilege. I am quite sure the rule exist more so to have the core broadcaster capture the moment because increased views is an increased sales period which makes every stakeholder happy.

How would the All Blacks like the Springboks having a braai without being able to get within 10 meters?

All Blacks Haka has become somewhat synonymous with Adidas marketing - some NZ articles in recent years saying what a marketing sham it's become.

Yeah, or watching us dip ouma rusks into coffee with perfect dunk moisture to rusk structural integrity ratio - things non-saffers can only dream of doing.
