Nicely done Japan!

(Now it's just Japan, Wales and New Zealand, then the cup comes home. Easy-peasy! :D )

Well done japan, 4/4. Definately gonna give us a run for our money.
These guys are going to be so tired come next weekend. Doubt they have enough time to recover properly. I'll be super surprised if they manage to bring the same intensity next week. Also, if we play a tight forward game we should be good against these guys.

Semis

England vs New Zealand
Wales vs South Africa

Happy with those teams. They've been the best 8 and have deserved their spot. Argentina were nowhere, Scotland came across a Japanese team that was too good and Fiji had their moments but ultimately, their lack of cohesiveness came back to bite them. At the end of the day, no team was unjustly affected by the typhoon (despite what the Italians may think).

Agree with your semi predictions as well.

I am glad Scotland came back into the game. It was good to see them play with less BS. Good quality comeback. Scotland changed their game, but Japan didn't execute the pace they had in the opening 40min and it was strange to see Tanaka not only slow but technically puzzled. In the previous three games, Japan changed their gameplan and they didn't do it today.

It was also good to hear Gregor Townsend's sincerity. Well done by Scotland, and welcome to Japan.

I believe Japan will now move to 7th position above France, Scotland and Argentina.

Next week... Japan better work on those rucks. The counter is killing them and they are being held up. It will take only 1 RG Snyman to dominate them in this situation. All I want to see is an incredible rugby match.
