So in the recent weeks, I have picked up that with new sims are not receiving sms's or calls. So no takealot activation code via SMS! You have actually load airtime and make a call to activate them. This is not so great for us as each network is setting their own minimum limit you need to load and use before your number can actually receive an SMS....
So far testing with testing with Telkom with not so good results.. but Telkom wins as you can transfer R10 per sim and it doesnt matter if you got the airtime via transfer which is not the same as loading an airtime voucher. Airtime voucher is like actual cash which rewards you with extra free airtime or data...
Need to find that sweet spot with how to use in an airtime transfer to activate the sms part.
If anyone got a simpler method, post or DM.. thanks

what is the new account code discount?
I was referring to creating a new takealot account which requires you to activate via sms to use new user vouchers and maybe other discount vouchers as well..
