Belgium was a different team with lukaku, only used him for 30min this wc
Germany were a different team with Havetz, he played 30 min this WC

Absolutely fantastic to see Europe losing it's domination.

At this rate, FIFA may have to review the decision to give them the most World Cup spots.

This is why Japan won. The curvature of the ball still touches the line as viewed from directly above. I assume that's the letter of the law.

Germany was robbed,
This is probably karma for the England Game in 2010

It's not that Euro teams ar playing badly.

The rest of the world is just catching up.

Tbh, I was not even surprised Japan and Morocco won their groups.

This Belgium team will go up there with the England teams of the late 90s - 2000s as being one of the greatest wastes of talent.

For strange reasons, I am always sad to see Germany go out of soccer world cup. I don't watch any of matches (at least not live matches) but still. :p

Germany going out is a good omen for the English.

In the vasy majority of world cups either Germany or Brazil play in the final, based on that history it's not looking for Argentina because it's looking like they are going to be in the same bracket as Brazil.

Argentina beat them in the Copa America final.
