How about not deliberately exterminating Palestinian children en masse?
I actually had a lot of sympathy for Israel on 7th October (and I still do). But they lost any and all moral high ground when they began exterminating innocent Palestinian civilians on a far greater scale in revenge for those attacks.
Yeah, I think we all know what they shouldn’t do, but that wasn’t the question.

Maybe you can point out who said "Iran supporting Hamas is a direct attack on the U.S." I don't recall now. I do recall talk of some Iran backed groups directly attacking US military assets in the region (Syria-Iraq) though. And I'm sure many consider it a more or less direct attack on Israel however.

If this is true, and the US really is getting their carrier groups into position, could this be why Israel is continuously delaying the ground operation.
The carriers, they come and the carriers they go. They don't sit at their bases all the time waiting for wars to break out.
Also, San Diego is Pacific fleet.

But if you want to know. They're fighting ISIS in both Syria and Iraq. And in Iraq by express invitation of the Iraq government. Just like they stayed in Afghanistan by request of the Afghan government for all those years. And of course they're more than welcome in Israel.
I could ask what Islamic Extremists are doing in Sub-Saharan Africa in return. Also what Russia is doing in Ukraine. Why a group of extremists originating from Pakistan is in control of Afghanistan. What a Hezbollah militia is doing exterminating Sunni in Iraq without trial. Why Russia, Iran and China are arming Hamas. Etc... Etc... Etc...
