2023 Israel-Hamas war: Micah's Idol (Part 2)

I see this as plausible, but why? Why do some people develop such an intense fury when they see Israel being successful?
Simple, because they are successful despite all the obstacles put in their way,
people often hate the underdog, and while the Arabs did their best to destroy the embryonic Jewish state,
they failed, and the conflict of 75 years is still going today in various forms and intensities.

really isnt much here to say other than Jews survived what many other peoples who are stateless never could,
for instance the Kurds of Iraq and Turkey, why do they not have their own state?

Indeed.

Jew hatred.
Some of them learn it in mosque and madrassa.
Some people are full of hate and just look for groups to hate, and it's both fashionable and largely unpunishable to hate Jews at the moment (some just pretend and claim they only hate Zionists).
But it's a millenia old cycle, and we're at it again.

This is more interesting:

Not any Arabs, but also Arab-Israelis. This will be an odd divide IF approved.
I don't often agree with you, but in this case yes. It will be an odd divide.
He's right - some of the Arab Israelis are actively terrorists - but how do you tell the difference without discriminating against an entire group?

very difficult, but here is where some truly Orwellian technologies and platforms come into being,
said arab Israelis posts are scanned, phone calls tapped and analyzed, facial recondition employed, and many other technologies for national security.
same as what they use in the USA/China and im sure even here in SA.

True.
I don't give the Israeli's credit for that though, I see it as evidence of God's favour. There's simply no way that they could have achieved what they have, from a military perspective, without divine intervention.

So I get that people feel strongly about this whole issue from either side...

But ffs, this lot should focus on their studies and actually pass.
The student supporting Israel is forced to speak out about her experiences on campus, the pro Palestinians are praising a terror groups action thousands of kilometres away

I get why its happening without a doubt, but its just a retarded waste of time (in my opinion) for the varisty/the students/etc... they should be teaching and studying.

interesting how this "logistical hub" is gowing - now at 16sq km

Egypt has built more than 3km of wall in the past week in addition to further clearance of a large area next to its border with Gaza, BBC Verify has found.

Egyptian authorities say "no provisions" are being made for displaced Palestinians and the area is meant for a "logistical hub" for aid.

But an aid worker for a UK charity, who is part of the humanitarian efforts in Gaza, told the BBC she had "never seen large scale clearing of land" for such a logistical hub and they were unaware of any such plan.

More than 16 sq km (6 sq miles) have been cleared just over the border from Gaza, visible in the recent satellite images.
The clearing of this area began at the start of February, but has expanded dramatically over the past week.
Sections of wall around this area now appear to be under construction.

On 14 February, about 0.8km (0.5 miles) of wall were visible in satellite imagery, but the most recent pictures indicate more that than 4km (2.5 miles) has now been erected.
Andreas Krieg, a senior lecturer in security studies at Kings College, London, said: "You do not need to clear that much ground to stage waiting trucks. To me, it very much looks like Egypt making preparations for the worst-case scenario."
"If you put this in perspective of how big this area this is, 16 km sq of trucks, that is thousands and thousands of trucks. There's never been a situation where you've had thousands of trucks waiting at the border."

believe whatever you want to believe, but ask yourself this, why are the Israelis/Jews always persecuted through history, from the inquisition to the holocaust,
and suddenly they have a state and are the sworn enemies of the Muslims/Arabs?

you can believe in divine intervention as much as you want, OR you can look at it from a practical point, where the horrors of the holocaust were the proverbial last straw, that pushed the Jews to simply say enough, and decide to fight for their own tiny piece of land where they can raise their kids in, and farm peacefully.

so again, up to interpretation IMO, you can bible bash and say God chosen people, OR you can say as a collective group the Jews said enough of being Killed and persecuted and raped , lets Together DO SOMETHING and get our own state,

I can give you biblical, even Old Testament prophecies and reasons for all of those too, but you probably won't believe it. Far before the inquisition  .

know many people believe in the bible despite the questionable points and spelling/Grammer mistakes that are evident in its publishing,
so not gonna burst your bubble,

but me being a Modern Israeli who has roots from the Holocaust, who's ancestors build a state out of blood sweat and tears. and donations, junk military equipment and crappy small arms,

tends to belive in hard verifiable facts and not stories from an unreliable book written many years before recorded history as we know it.

I bet if I ask you evolution, you will probably try to kill me

What the f... exactly is it with all you terrorist supporters telling our jewish members to f-off to Israel and go and fight there.

Why don't YOU book tickets, instead of hiding behind keyboards for your jihad on mybb?
what the f... do you know about me? nothing!

I dont need to book tickets anywhere, i am satisifed where i am.

Im not a terrorist supporter, i dont support israel. tsek sollie.
