Which to me means 23:59 Thursday
The better announcement would have been "00:00 on Friday the 27th March 2020".

The speech was being prepped since last week already, with the clear intention, informed by the recommendation from the initial NICD presentation to cabinet and subsequently by the panel of epidemiologist + virologist that now are in charge of modelling and advising government - the projections hit everyone, from CR, his right hand men/ladies in the Presidency, his administration, to the political leaders - that is what spurred him into this proactive mitigation stance.

Lol told my brother if he picks up the virus he is dead to me..... As joke of course. He works in the food manufacturing industry, sweetners which is essential in the manufacturing chain pretty much every where, while their production I think is shutdown for the time being, they have stock piled and manufactured enough sweetners, to see them through this lock down and beyond.

It should be but this few days enables us to prepare for lockdown. One unfortunate sucker here will be keeping the fort and doing analysis and samples on his own every second day. This also gives me time ( barely) to get my forklift back from our Elgin site to enable me to do things on my own. This time is barely enough for me and we'll be finishing around 22h00 on Thursday and then I must still take my staff home and be back before midnight.
