Since this is a tech forum... Computers count time from 00:00:00.0, so 2020/03/26 00:00 is when? By same, 24:00 does not exist on a computer clock. The 26th ends at 2020/03/26 23:59:59.9999...

A question for perspective: If you schedule a job / task to run daily every day at 00:00 , starting on 2020/03/26, when will it run the first time; between 25 and 26 March or between 26 and 27 March?

Just pause and read what you written there. You just said it starts at 00h00 Thursday, but then just magically skip the day and move to Friday...

And since when you do trust politicians? The royally fnucked up how to commute the start time.

Well we just had word from the owner of the business. Business as usual. Failure to come to work you will be dealt with according to the disciplinary code of conduct of the company.

I said it before and say it again the Motor industry is the worst industry to be in.

Well the lockdown would be lifted on the 16th of April.......Simple maths no ? From Thursday it would be 22days from Friday 21 days ........no ?, Of course if the 15th is to be the last day then Thursday would be correct, if lifted on the 16th at midnight then Friday would be correct ......Considering we not sure when on the 16th the lockdown will be lifted....I need some MYB member to roam the streets at dusk and see what happens

I said thursday night at 00h00. In other words just after 23h59. This has been confirmed by government, back on page 24 of this thread. Just accept that you're wrong and move on. Everyone is wrong at some stage. You can't always be right.

Why are so many confused about the date? They said Thursday at midnight. So on this Thursday at midnight, the lockdown will be in effect. If you don't know that midnight is 00:00 then I'm not sure what to tell you...

If they said the 27th as the date which is Friday its because Friday begins at 00:01 which is still correct.

Did they re-announce some stuff or are people just not understanding how time works

He is going to have a rough 21 days. He literally cannot force people to come to work. Does he know what a lockdown means? The motor industry is not part of essential services.
