Well one of my possible plans is out the water... literally.

NSRI reporting that anyone found on the water on the Vaal Dam or River will be arrested by the SAPS water wing.
A reasonable precaution to take so that you don't infect the fish.

And here's one of the reasons people keep saying don't be a prepper, why are you covered for 3 months?
I'm not a prepper , and I'm covering the bases where possible. I was totally chill about everything until the people started clearing the shelves.. panic buying creates more panic buying.

Must you wear a musk and gloves when out in your car when the lockdown kicks in? There's rumours where police would arrest you don't wear these things. If you are alone in the car, why must you? I do understand that you must also show prove that you do work for a food distribution company (essential services) My company will provide that for all our employees.

Geez stop listening to WhatsApp voice notes.

Anything on a WhatsApp voice note that comes from some oom in Springs is fake news.

That's exactly how it works.
Don't be a tit, resist those primeval screams in your brain.

Looks like they'll be issuing permits to those allowed to travel and work during the lockdown. My company stays operating but haven't heard anything about permits. An Eskom guy says theirs are in process.

Not sure how this will be working in general but I had to send a spreadsheet with names of people that must do essential tasks, and why. Tried to sneak in some extra work and got shut down very quickly, only essential tasks and had to motivate why. Had to send everyone's ID numbers in as well so assuming we'll be getting some kind of documentation to allow us to work.

As per last nights speech, i will fall into the
"All essential back-office services to enable salary and human resource departments to work so as to ensure smooth management of wage and salary payments " section.

So how does one travel, if i get stopped, what would i need? a stamp on my forehead? a ear tag? passport? or would a letter from my company suffice?
