I'm concerned you're joking around. If you're serious, you've already been told to ask older adults in your company for help.

You wasted a golden opportunity.

I reckon in 2 weeks time people will be willing to do anything for a loose cigarette...

How we're doing this here: there's a designated place outside the supermarket to queue, with markers set at 2 metre intervals for social spacing purposes. Staff (with suitable gloves/masks) are stationed at the door, and enforcing "one person out, one person in".

Over here it works, as Kiwis are law abiding folk and known to pull together in a time of crisis. Doubt this will work as well with the typically selfish "I'll do what I like, and if you don't like it, go **** yourself" mentality that South Africans have.
Leave me and my family out of your profiling .....

Another emigre, bitter and hurt and has a lot to say about a country he no longer lives in.
See this often.

Just came from the shop after having worked until 5pm.

PnP, Woolworths, Checkers, Game and Woolworths Engen shelves are all empty.

No fresh fruit, Veg, Tinned food, Toilet paper, Cereal, Eggs, Cheese, Baking goods, Long life Milk and very limited fresh milk and cheeses. Very limited meats.

I actually went buy stuff I need like veg to cook with. I left empty handed with the last 2 loafs of white bread on the shelf. Very disappointing.

I’ve never mentioned ANC at all, so why would you assume such. The kid(s) will have to learn.
The ANC are the ones that should learn, but never do.

So because some shops won’t be able to sell something, all shops must be banned from selling the same thing? Sorry, that’s just stupid lowest common denominator central planning communist thinking of the worst kind.
I actually understand that. It's not about the store but about the product. Hardware was deemed nonessential but if a hardware store stocked food they could remain open but just not sell hardware. Game can stay open but only sell food. Everyone is on equal footing here so it's not about the type of store. Just don't know if it will be enforced like that. Cigarettes I don't understand though as it's a basic good sold at caffees. Same as lightbulbs.
