I had a funny feeling my data keeps vanishing every month. So last month I left close to 1500MB's to see if they carry over. Guess what, I checked now and I only have the 2048 allocated for this new month. Month before the same happened when I left over 500MB's and they vanished.

I'm pissed off beyond reason. I paid for 24GB's and they decide when I should use it and by when? No where at any stage when I took out this deal on pre-paid I was told it expires or doesn't carry over... would a rep please advised as I'm close to exploding from rage.

CellC...

The this was the initial 24 GB's for 12 months deal, 2GB per month. no one no where said it doesn't carry. I'm about to get in my car and drive to the CellC shop in Kolonade - Montana and stick this dongle up someone's dongle...

It's always been like this. I've been using this product from Cell C for the last 18 months (bought a second one). I'm pretty sure it's in the fine print somewhere that data doesn't carry over. So don't break your head about it, that's just the deal. You shouldn't have assumed that it carries over, as it's standard practice for data to expire.

has been discussed on the forum before and is addressed under the CellC data promotion FAQ here

Well thank you and fk you CellC.

Done with this shyte, just glad it's over on the 20th of July. Just when you think one provider is leading with innovative ideas you get sexually violated up the pooper. Another lesson learned at my expense, just glad I did before I comitted more to CellC.

Seems like the saying rings true: Rather the bad guy you know than the one you don't.

Was about to say it's your fault, especially since you've been part of MB for so long, BUT

then I opened CellC website"

24 Gig ANY TIME
That small peace of wording completely contradicts
2GB x 12 months

When I had gotten the 60Gig promotion I could of sworn that "ANY TIME" wording wasn't used. If I can't use that 24Gig up in 3 months or save the whole 24Gig for the last 3 months, it definitely isn't "ANY TIME".

Heck I can't figure out in this context what is meant with "ANY TIME"?

You are absolutely right. Word 'Anytime' shouldn't be used, it can be understood that all 24Gig data can be used anytime you want. It actually means that allocated data can be used at any day-time, but not 24 Gig as a whole!

Please Cell C listen to the voice!

Ironically found the old pamphlet, there's no mention of "ANY TIME" on it

PREPAID
24GB
(1GB PM x 24 MONTHS)

R2999 ONCE OF PAYMENT ON PREPAID

No confusion on that one. Current CELLC promotion needs to be rephrased since that sentence is misleading in it's current context.

Not much to be said... Got a 10+10 deal on 8ta. A few rands CellC could have had. I learned my lesson yea, can't argue that. But CellC lost a supporter. T's and C's should not be an issue if you advertize something as 24GB's for 12 months. I have written of the data as a lesson learned.

Hi

The Any Time refers to any time in the day.
Like some packages say 2 GB in the day and 2 GB night owl.
Not subjected to any time restrictions.

@CellC : customers will see the sentence above as "Or get 24Gb data any time" which (to me) is plain that the customer can download 24Gb's at any time whenever the customer want to.

At best it should be constructed as "Get Internet access any time of the day" rather...

@CellC, I can safely say the majority won't interpret it that way, not with the way it's written. You said anytime of the day, but that info is not given, could also be interpreted as ANYTIME of the month, year, decade.

The following is much clearer:

24GIG Prepaid
(2GB Anytime Data PM x 12)
*no rollover

If put in the propper context, it suddenly makes sense.
