250MB free data not included with phone contract

Having the exact same problem.

Bill comes at the end of the month and it's more than what the contractual amount is.

Seeing as this is 'n "pre-paid" package with a fixed amount of bandwidth.

How the hell am I going to use caller ID and Itemized billing on a data sim???

on a similar but unrelated note: Isn't the Consumer Protection Act kicking in from the 1st of April?

Update - CellC has contacted me on a regular basis now and I am dealing with the same person moving forward by the looks of things. Although I am still not seeing the data bundles in my online profile having such regular feedback is very welcome.

Same problem here with red bull mobile. The free minutes and data do not reflect on my statement and the bill is more than it should be.

@ Zenbaas, thanks for the PM. PS. 500Mb + 100 free SMS, wont show on your statement, because they are promotions, only discounts will reflect on your statement. Also, accessing the the RBM portal is free, but there are also backround applications that are not.. thanks... DM

Update - when i check my balance now the data is there. Thanks go out to the the two people who phoned me regularly until this was sorted out.
Final update to follow when i get my next invoice, I'm hoping that I'll get a discount applied since I was overcharged on my first invoice

We haven't accessed the RMB portal at all afaik and even if its not an issue as it should just be deducted from the 500mb that it comes with. Also you say it wont show on the bill as its promotional but promotional for 24 months...? Are you saying the entire contract is promotional....?

UPDATE: the data is still showing on my account so all is still good over there. I have also been recently contacted and assured that the incorrect charges for my data in the months of February and March will be credited to my next bill. All in all a satisfactory end result. Thanks to all the people that have looked into this matter
