Our client, a fast growing Management company based in Sandton, is expanding at a rapid rate and requires BI Consultants (will be trained in SAP Business Objects if applicable)
This senior consultant role requires a seasoned IT professional whose primary function is to deliver BI / MIS solutions, Insights and Analytics to Business stakeholders. The incumbent will provide strategic and technical direction on BI, Insights and Analytics in regards to project development, maintenance and support for Business Objects.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the emphasis on relationship building,
understanding business requirements, and management of business expectations
• Ability to take responsibility and be decisive
• Ability to work within a team
• Effective planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Deadline driven
Responsibilities
• Participate in analysis and design sessions
• Deliver BI solution with team
• Communication with client and project team on progress
• Produce technical and user documentation
• Assisting any junior staff on team
Qualifications
• Matric
• BTech degree or diploma
• Experience with Explorer, Webi, Universe Design, Crystal and Xcelsius essential
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing and analytical solution delivery
• Preferably certified in any BI technology
• BI project experience
• Sound judgement, logical thinking and strong analytical skills
• Correctly analyse the needs of the business
