I've heard more than a few people say that they planned to wait for their existing contracts with other providers to run their course.

And some of it may simply be that people were happy to simply enjoy the sleek look of their new phones for a spell before desiring to make calls.

Or they're waiting for the phone to be hacked so they can use other networks.

I like the subsidies and 'royalty' fees AT&T have to pay....
