2GB for R200, is this correct with free airtime?

The 2+1 is over i think, looking for more deals. Ok so if i recharge with R200, i will get R200 free airtime for a week, can i buy 1gb data from the original R100 and 1gb from the free airtime, adding up to 2gb for R200.
I saw a post from 8ta saying "what can you spend free airtime on? Data bundles that are not promotional."
Confirm please.

No. You will get R200 of normal airtime in your "Top Up Wallet" that you can buy 1GB with. You will also get a R200 Recharge Bonus that can only be used towards calls (at R1.90 per minute) or SMSs at 50c per SMS, but NOT ON BUNDLES. And the Recharge Bonus expires in one week.

The bonus airtime used to also be available for data (at the full OOB rate) but it seems they stopped that, as it no longer works for me.
