2GB x 12 months didn't reset for July

Well, this is something I didn't expect. I've used the Cell C 2GB x 12 months when it came out end 2010 / 2011. it expired in April, so I went and got myself a recharge voucher. Great, all seems well. In May, it worked fine. It reset in June to 2GB. But this morning, it still says 0MB when I enquiry and also, it asks me to recharge. Note that this SIM is used in my Ipad 2, so I don't have anything that might use up the bandwidth in 6 hours.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Yes! Same problem this side and same history as yours. My initial 12 months of data ended in MAY. Bought a new R1299 voucher for another year of data and loaded this on 4 of June and everything was 100%

I "capped" the thing last night on purpose and this morning am still sitting on 0MB. Tried phoning the call centre and got "high call volumes in Trevor Noah voice" so I sent them an email to voice my disapproval.

Currently using this in a laptop and it was off overnight so definitely an issue on their side!

Creeper: when you activated the second 12 months voucher - was it on the 1st of the month or another date. I did mine on the 4th and when I went into a Cell C shop today, the oke behind the counter said that is why I have not received my July data yet and I will get it on the 5th!

I am not sure whether to believe him as there was yawning and head scratching before he gave me that answer?!

Thanks for the tip. But iris a bit strange that my June was reset on the 1st. Also, the cellc website also states the 1st. Will wait until tomorrow to find out

I read this type of thing so often that it makes me think CellC and other mobile operators are very disorganised. I found the only way to get it right first time was to deal personally with a rep. In the case of CellC it was Roslyn Weatherall and she fixed everything up before it was delivered or I had to pay anything. This person gets paid for what she produces so she makes sure she gets it right first time and on time, or there are repeat visits.

I get the distinct impression that the call centre agents, whether it be CellC, Telkom, Multichoice want you to hang up the phone and stop bothering them with your unimportant complaints. It has to do with the myriad of packages offered to customers, the lack of proper training so that they are able to properly identify a problem

Does anyone know if you still get a 13th month's data free if you activate after the 15th?
