2nd-hand Thule roof bars - would you buy these (pics)?

I'm looking at buying a 2nd hand Thule roof rack. Brother in law has a roofbox that I can use, but I need the roof bars for my car.

No knowing how often I'm going to use/borrow it, I don't really want to deck out R6200 for the mount, kit and 2 wingbars:

Thule Rapid System 753 | Thule Store SA - R2899
Thule WingBar Evo 127 (Silver) | Thule Store SA - R2300
THULE Kit Isuzu MU-X 5dr SUV 2013- | Thule Store SA - R1000

So I found a guy selling Thule parts 2nd hand on OLX and I can save about R2000 by buying the 753 base (R1800) and the Wingbars (R1200). But the wingbars are a bit beaten up:



Would I be stupid to buy these? I'm not sure I would even notice the bumps on while they're on my roof, but I don't want the bars to collapsed on top of my roof.

It's nothing but cosmetic damage, the structure looks sound and solid, I would buy them.
