2TB Anytime data

But multi sim shares the 2TB from the main sim no need to transfer data
That's if it's allowed. See the quotes below which differs widely from the info you were provided.

Just got this deal today, so far its been really sweet. Getting anywhere from 50-100 Mbps down and 20 ish up. Its basically uncapped at this point with no FUP limit. I say if you got excellent LTE coverage in your area go for this deal. Only downside is that it does not support multi-sim :(.

Anyone successfuly got multi-sim with this? I've been told by 2 telkom stores that they do not offer multi-sim on this package.

Maybe things changed? Because they did ask two different sales guys and both agreed it can be done, I'll try another store that is closer to me and see what they say

Haven't applied as of yet, waiting for my Pure 5G to expire in September.

Also there was a guy that got it on 3 sims working can't remember the thread but he did show proof

I got this deal in early 2023. A few months later I was curious whether the deal supported multi-sim. So I headed to my nearest Telkom store where I was promptly told "The deal does not allow multi-sim" :(

Maybe things have changed in the last year or so? If anyone can confirm that this deal does in fact support multi-sim then this is too good an opportunity to pass up. Pre-paid data has been expensive lately, even from MVNO's such as Afrihost's Airmobile.

Please get the deal and let us know if it works.

Is there another cable break somewhere? Telkom has been so bad last night and tonight. Unusable in Morningside Sandton area.

Or probably congestion because of 1st of month again....

Update: Been to 3 Telkom stores this past month and was told by all that Multi-Sim is not allowed on this 2TB package.

If anyone has successfully managed to get multi-sim let us know which store you went to 😝

I haven't been using my Telkom sim for a few weeks. Started using it again this weekend. Noticed the ping to Europe is high at about 340ms. It's stable without issues though. Is there some rerouting happening right now or something?

My ping with Telkom was usually around 230ms to Europe. With Vodacom I get slightly lower ping at about 200ms.

Forgive my ignorance on this. I haven't been in South Africa for some time but I am coming on holiday. Are you able to get this 2TB deal for 1 month for the north coast of KZN or is this a contract-only deal?

You can buy prepaid for 1 month or 2 months, depending on carry-over rules. 120 + 120 night should be enough

Also 1 TB for 30 days, see the 1 TB LTE ANYTIME BUNDLE tab.

Just make sure you use a router that supports band 40 for Telkom. I think you mentioned elsewhere you have Huawei 315. Just make sure about the exact model. I have a Huawei 315s-936 which was issued by Telkom. It supports band 40. Works very well. Just check coverage of course!

Does anybody have a idea what telkom non roaming signal 4G network id is? 1728981505683.jpeg

Just want to check if I have Telkom signal and not Roaming telkom
