Good to see these terrorists being brought to trial.

Trio conducted 'reconnaissance mission' for July 7 bombers, court hears

Waheed Ali, 25, Sadeer Saleem, 28, and Mohammed Shakil, 32, are accused of conspiracy to cause explosions alongside the four suicide bombers.

It is alleged that Saleem and Shakil visited the Natural History Museum, the London Eye and the London Aquarium while Ali was with his sister in East London.

The jury at Kingston Crown Court was told by the Judge, Mr Justice Gross, that the men had faced a previous trial on similar charges but the events of that trial did not concern them.

Mr Flewitt said it was not the prosecution case that the defendants were directly involved in the London bombings of 2005.

But, he added: "It is the prosecution case that the defendants associated with and shared the beliefs and objectives of the London bombers and so were willing to assist them in one particular and important aspect of their preparation for the London bombings."

The jury was told that 52 people died and many more were injured when Mohammed Sidique Khan, Shezhad Tanweer, Jermaine Lindsay and Hasib Hussain, blew themselves up on three underground trains and a bus.
