3 Explosions in Central Cape Town last night ~9pm??

Any news as to what they were?

Yes i heard them, bloody loud - couldnt work out where it was from, could have been some sub terrain blasts, maybe under a road...

Where I work, at least once a week there is a photo shoot or a movie shoot. Yesterday again, they were busy with a movie shoot.

A few nights back I heard what sounded like canon-fire, like the noon gun. But not in any kind of rhythm, more like cannon-fire between ships It was after 12 at night. Did anyone else hear it?

I was also thinking noon gun. Seemed a bit louder though, and then there were three explosions...

Lol. But the bangs I heard were random and lasted for nearly an hour. Each one kinda sounded like the Noon Gun.
