3 gig cap pethetic

Telkom im was shown today how pathetic teh cap actually , i play mmorpg's now its half way through month and ive done 2 gigs i play every night for 3 hours and weekends quite alot now all of my friends fomr over sees can play the game for a whole month without a cap now i think this is not fair to south africans that are paying more than they ae and they can use tehre adsl without a cap

Telkom we are paying good money for this service the least you could do is increase the cap to 6 gigs

I have the same problem. Assuming I do nothing on the web, no email, no browsing - nothing, my Battlefield multiplayer online gaming addiction [8)] will get me to my cap in less than 22 hours of game time. There are +-720 hours in a month.

See, it would help if they would just exclude local traffic from the damn cap. I've only just recently started online gaming - played my first game of BF1942 earlier, was a LOT of fun - but the only servers that really interest me are the SA ones because of the low pings; anywhere else and the pings are 300-upwards. If they would exclude local traffic, at least it would make our lives a little easier, since we could do local gaming and downloading from the SGS Filevault without having to worry about exceeding our petty limit.

Yep I agree with you The Voice. We're only really interested in 'local is lekker' websites. We could just play all the time and i would be a very happy person[]

1st person shooters are a monster on Int servers. You can do some wicked teleports and no one can shoot you cause of the lag. Playing CS you always here, "fix your rates" and you just gotta blush and think "wish i could fix telkom".

Yes you are right. The 3 GB is pathetic. I am originally from Germany. I used TDSL 3000 with a 3MB Download/1MB Upload and NO CAP!!! I sucked in between 60 and 90 GB per month, and nobody cares....
