Thanx for the info man, appreciate it. Yeah running older games like cs:go on laptop, maybe acc when I get a wheel, but not expecting the best from the laptop tbh. Hopefully the monitor I get is also decent enough for ps5 will look into the S2721DGFA.

If you want to have more fun in FPS's, try to get a 144hz monitor and decide on the native resolution at which you'll get a decent framerate on.

I'd rather run at 90fps+ / 1440p / 32", before switching to 4K.
So even planning to upgrade to an RTX3080, I'll stick to my 1440p monitor and have a high framerate for some time.

On the AOC 1440p: G-Sync compatibility broke on some games - so it's freesync - no idea what difference that makes.
Also it seems to have no speaker, or I couldn't get it working. Couldn't even relay audio to the headphone jack. If any of that matters.
On curved: I'm a hardcore flatscreener, but the curved is fine... maybe nicer if you're too close for the screen size.

Ok so seems I'm erring to the AOC again think I got the wrong model above, so either the AOC CQ27G2 or the 32inch version AOC CQ32G2E, similar price so may as well go for the bigger one. Speaker isnt a deal breaker for me. As you say both has 144hz, I assume from you comment above you have an AOC if so which one?

Although, if you're not too hung up on 32", you could get the Dell S2721DGF for a bit less

I bought the AOC CQ32G2E mostly because it was at R7600 for a few days. It's not true HDR - I'm sure some other monitors have better colour reproduction. Other than that it's decent.
