Anyone of you guys take advantage of the 32' Sony LCD special that Makro had for R 4999?

On a serious note. The deal sounds pretty good. What model is the TV? I'm guessing it's a S-series Bravia? They're pretty good budget screens. I'm just not crazy about their aesthetics. But that's all down to personal taste.

At the end of the day, the Sony and Samsung TVs are on par, if you ask me. It's just that the Samsungs LOOK much better. But as I say, that's just personal taste.

So if you like both, then you should have a look for specials on either the S-series Bravia or a Series 3 Samsung.
