can anybody tell me where i can swop a 32k vodacom sim for a 64k sim somewhere around cape town? it is a pre-paid sim. i tried a sim swop or purchase a starter pack but no luck. it seems that this is not a problem around jhb.

Yes I did yesterday - and it worked great - but this evening for some reason I cannot get on. I get an 619:A error - and whatever that mean I don't know. Back on my MTN GPRS only connection :-( for now until I can figure the Vodacom problem out.

Seems others in Pretoria are getting the same 619 error today. Possible network gremlin - I hope.

Not much, I'm still using 32K sims in my 3G phone and datacard.

If you can't connect with the 32K SIM rather have the number checked to see if data was enabled on it.

Data (GPRS/3G) was enabled at Vodaworld Customer Care yesterday - and I used it without any problems in my data card last night. Nothing on my machine or in my settings changed since yesterday but tonight I get the connnection error.

Just got back on with my Vodacom SIM. Must have been a network error. At least I now know that error 619:A wasn't my fault :)
