Shouldn't be required. I can print Funkiments at 230°C just fine. I have printed at 240°C and above as well, but I reverted back to lower temps as it doesn't seem like I needed to.Do you need to upgrade the hotend for ABS?
LOVE IT!Do you have an enclosure? And what kind of build surface are you using?
I have great success with Funkiments ABS, but I'm using an enclosure (the Creality tent thingie) and Magigoo for my glass bed. That combo is epic. I printed this whole Landy in Funkiments ABS. I was amazed that the suspension works as good as it does.

Yeh, its currently the stock hotend with capricorn tube.Shouldn't be required. I can print Funkiments at 230°C just fine. I have printed at 240°C and above as well, but I reverted back to lower temps as it doesn't seem like I needed to.
Just keep in mind, if you have a stock hotend the PTFE will be pressed against the nozzle and will deteriorate much faster than with PLA. You may need to nip the tip of the bowden tube once in a while., but just keep an eye on it.
I count vouch for the site but they have it:so currently i am unable to get an ender 3 V2 for R5000 any where?
That is the site we were discussing. Nobody can vouch for them and they appear super dodge.I count vouch for the site but they have it:

Was more for the sake of trying to create the patterning geometry, the dildo shape was just part of something I had open so grabbed it to use. Starting to like this white resin (Peopoly Deft) - gets nice & strong once cured.Everything is a dildo if you try hard enough
What is it though?
I ordered friday from Hype and received today, took the risk but they deliveredHey guys,
Anyone purchased from Hype Direct - hype.co.za?
Looking to buy a Creality Ender 3 V2 from them but not sure how legit they are.
Thanks

I've put the 3D printer in the cupboard as wife said it makes too much noise.
I have a 10A Sonoff which I am going to connect.
I have that smoke detector, but only helpful if you can hear it.
Are there some other clever devices or things I can use to monitor heat in the cupboard etc.
Any other tips.

Your 3D printer wants to come out (of the closet).

Get yourself a cheap wifi cam, then you can check in on the printer whenever you want. The EZVIZ cams also have infra red so it will work just fine in complete darkness. e.g.
