3G and Proxy

Hi Guys

Please help me with this one.

Compaq nc 6000 laptop- formatted and fresh copy of XP Pro and office 2003.
It is part of my domain and everything works ok. Internet connection through a proxy.

Installed the Vodafone Mobile connect 6 and tried to connect. It keeps on going to the proxy and thus can’t get onto the internet. I changed all the settings and removed all proxy settings, but to no avail.

Do you clever oake’s have the solution for me please.

Just a small suggestion which may not work but....if you open you ie6 browser and go to tools/internet options. Then go to the connections tab and click on LAN settings. In there make sure you have the box checked which says automatically detect settings.

I know we use a proxy here and if that isnt enabled then I got no internet
